- Erik Cave: Congratulations on your success with Extra Life. Thank you for making a difference in the world and continuing to create great content. I have a conundrum. I don't have a lot of time to game. I am almost to the end of Psychonauts 2 and want to finish it. I am also loving Forza Horizon 5 and want to play it all the time. The early access beta for Battlefield 2042 just opened up for Game Pass and it is tempting me. What do you recommend, spending my time in games I am currently loving, or trying something new?
The Playlist
- Ryan: Halo Infinite Multiplayer, a bunch of backwards compatible games, Guardians of the Galaxy
- Sean: Halo Infinite Multiplayer, Forza Horizon 5 Multiplayer, Forza Horizon 5 and Xbox 20th Anniversary Controllers

- TPR - As a new Xbox owner and game pass subscriber, i've had a fantastic time with Forza horizon 5 as my real first experience with Xbox outside of the halo flight test. Ive ran into a nice problem to have. With game pass being as powerful as it is, I’m feeling far less inclined to physically collect for the series X, because it seems nearly all I want to play is on game pass, and owning a physical copy would feel more for posterity than the mode to access my games, which I can’t financially justify. I’m thinking about making my physical collection primarily of non game pass Xbox back compat titles due to this. Og Xbox and 360 stuff like red dead redemption 1 or ninja gaiden black. How do you two go about collecting physical Xbox games now with game pass at the forefront?
- TPR - It feels like once or twice a year we have game releases that make us drop whatever we're doing and focus all our attention to a new title. It seems like this happened with Sean putting Forza away when the surprise halo beta dropped, and respectively happened with Ryan for SMT 5 (even though it wasn't an xbox game, incredible premium edition you got Ryan!). How often do you return to the games you were previously playing before the shiny one swept you off your feet? Does it just become a part of the backlog, or do you make a concerted effort to return once your charade with the new halo or shin megami tensei has settled?
- Mike @BlazeKnight0923 - I was lucky enough to play some Halo Infinite with you guys on Beta launch day. But, I'm a super noob and this is my first Halo game. There is no tutorial that I'm aware of, so, how would you recommend a new player learn the ropes of a Halo game? Am I doomed to just sink/swim?
- Court Lalonde @courtlalonde - Why is Bad Bit so good at Halo? It’s not fair
