  • Our favorite RPG Remakes and Remasters
    • Ngachacha @ngachacha - We all know Final Fantasy 7 Remake is fantastic but I want to give a shoutout to one of my favorite games of all time which is a remaster of an action-rpg, and that is NieR Replicant version 122474487139! That brand new ending left me in tears for days!
    • Blaze Knight - A few of my favorite remakes/remasters are FFVI on DS (crank the difficulty up to 11 on this one), The GBA remasters of Breath of Fire and Breath of Fire II (turns the grinding down by half!), and Shining Force GBA (Added story relevant characters and new mechanics). A few remakes I hope to get to at some point: Chrono Cross, Secret of Mana and Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valencia. And a couple I would like to see remade: Lunar series, Lufia series, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn.
    • Sky_Katchr_Gaming - Well I've only played one and that's Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology on 3DS.  I never played the DS version but I heard that the art style is great. So someday I'll play it. I'd love to see remasters of the Tales games that are not on PS4 or Switch. Also all of the Mario and Mario and Luigi RPGs on Switch.
    • The Good Sir - First Time, Short time here. There have been some incredible RPG Remake/Remasters over the years. 2 of my faves are (unsurprisingly) Dark Cloud 1 and 2 remastered on PS4, mostly for the opportunity to replay them with trophies. That DC2 Platinum is ridiculous and I'll never get it, but you know I snagged that Dark Cloud 1 Platinum! Amazing franchise. Would love to see a 3rd entry.
    • TheMuff1nMon - I've loved the remakes of a lot of older JRPGs lately. Obviously FF7R is amazing but Trials of Mana was very underrated imo. I played through that game for all the routes and loved it. What JRPG do you want to see a remake of? I would actually LOVE to see a Golden Sun or Chrono Trigger REMAKE, to bring it into the modern era.

  • SkinnyMatt - Cans we just get a proper/good console port of Chrono Trigger?
  • The_WinterGamer - What RPG grabbed your attention from first sight but when you got into It made you realize you made a mistake? Did you end up finishing it, restarting and trying again or walked away? For me it was xenoblade chronicle on the wii where I restarted and got the hang of the combat but then saw the selling price then sold it to fund my next 3 games . I later picked it up on the 3ds because it launched on my birthday and. It was a new 3ds exclusive  and I only regretted it because of the limitations of the 3ds but loved the portability. I'm still looking to finish it on day
